Shadow, none of these people here are discrediting your video....
They're just saying that there is no reason to get bent out of shape because of one person's opinion. It's life, you can't please everyone so just deal with it. Just because the video is good does not mean that it wont get a bad rating or two, and if you can't live with that then don't host your videos anywhere. -shrug- You always have to expect negativity when you show off your work.
AND NO Shadow, I'm not saying you deserved your bad rating, I'm just telling you to DEAL WITH IT and stop complaining. -_-

Also, it would seem that people like to forget that that person was going to give that video a one whether or not there was a quick comments section. Now you just have his/her moronic thoughts to accompany that score.

I've also gotten very nasty one liners (quick comments).. can't let it wreck your life. I've noticed that most people who leave these comments are either 1. Pissed off because they've released a video and they have not received the instant gratification they expected, 2. The person feels like that editor has slighted them in some way. Easy pickens', just leave a nasty note, ha ha! Now you can have a crappy day too! or 3. They've just never made videos of their own, which means they have nary a clue as to what kind of effort goes into making one that's not complete garbage. (and working with wmm, I understand)

When leaving a one liner, I try to sign my name--and no I don't feel it's appropriate to plant the starriness quality in said one liner like a bomb; I'm not The AMV Goddess.

"You owe me 4+ min of my life back! I want it back! Due that was like raping a cat! And then doing it again ... just stop and think, I know it's hard, but try."

Oh and I did download your video jsut to get an own impression. I will comment here.

Good: 1: Effort was okay
2. Visual Quality

bad: 1: Subtitles
2: Unoriginal
3: DivX-logo

At first I thougt i would give you another qc for this, but this came to my mind:

Well the video itsself isn't really great, there are thousands of this outta there, just with slight differences in quality. You had a nice sync so far and put quite some effort in it. Still it is 2/5 <Tormentor>

these are problems with it since ya'll don't seem to understand...

1) - the guy says "what kind of FUCKED UP version on of the song is this?" my answer, as should yours, be...... "umm, try the version directly from the album the song comes from.... 'Encore' ... idiot!"

3) - as earlier stated, i used windows movie maker... and not to toot my own horn or anything but, that video i made is NOT bad, and it IS edited better than most. why do i know this you ask? i know because i know a good video when i see and a bad video when i see one; i know because all the general consenus of all the other comments this video received; and i know because of the percentile that this video is in (that being, the 98th percentile for video score, and the 97th percentile for video star rating) despite it being a a video using a rap song, which many of the members of AMVs.org "hate" on. the person who wrote me that comment was simply a HATER and a coward... being that he writes it anonymously.

look, I'm not some little kid or a guy who making anime music eans the world to... the reason i posted this is because i thought it was annoying, not to mention, interesting. the only reason i left a link to download it it is because i figured some people might not have seen it yet and wouldn't understand why this person's comment is so... unbased. if it was about promontion or something like that, i could've chose a better way to promote it, in a better place, don't you think?

furthermore, this site is supposed to be one where if you give critizism you generally give constructive critizism. you don't just leave a comment saying "i hated your video" and give out a bunch of 1s... if you felt that why you can say so, but you back up your statement as to why you disliked it so much; you support your statement with reasons and/or examples.

Geez. It's just HIS opinion. Maybe most like it, and you do too, but apparently HE didn't. Just be glad he didn't leave an opinion.

what everyone seems to not understand is, my annoyance isn't about getting a on star rating even if i disagree with it. if you don't like it that's your business. my annoyance is with the need to leave a unnecessary comment... that is, when you look at it really dumb. i say it's dumb because the part about "what version of the song..."
if the guy was like, your editing wasn't that good and said he gave it a one... then no problem. i wouldn't have even snything posted this. i've gotten comments i didn't agree with and not said anything about them. lol i'm not new to this whole AMV stuff... am i a pro, no, but i've made my fair share of videos, so i can take everyone not liking it. I mean c'mon people, think about it for a second... I've made like 14 videos... do you really think i haven't gotten bad reviews or comments before? and have I said anything in response to those? noooo, i haven't. so use your heads a lil' before you read something and start saying I'm just whinning/bitching/etc.

also... now i have more people simply hating just because they don't like the fact that i said something about a comment... claiming that they'll "burry shadow050" and that they've done it before and will do it again... to those anonymous people, go get a life, a girlfreind/boyfriend, something... cuz it's not that serious.
