Ok, Infinity squared just told you that you can use the .org storage space, which is free and doesn't use any of your own bandwidth.

He told you that the links that you posted were no good, and why they were no good. Instead of just saying they were no good and letting you figure it out.

so to sumarize:

1) you can't link to stuff on your home system, not unless you are doing some rather unusual things.
2) the link on YouTube has been disabled by YOUTUBE since they don't want people linking to them
3) youtube has been filtered by the .org for some reason, if I had to guess probably for legal reasons.
4) uploading to the .org is free, and you can retain all of your original file quality, within limits.

5) if you want to tell someone that tried to help you to fuck off and then leave I can't see anyone stopping you. You were right, his post WAS typical of the .orgs. Helpful. So basically you owe him an apology, otherwise feel free to fuck off I can't see wanting to watch your videos at this point.

I uploaded it it looks like it's liked on a-m-v.org... but I'm not seeing the "Direct Link" when I goto it's "page"

Any help with that?

Then just ten minutes later, I get asked to upload to FTP. (For those of you who don't know FTP is how people get their videos from thier home computer to a-m-v.org's site.)

Why don't you just upload locally instead of linking to youtub which pretty much butchers quality in videos?

Now, as you've been a complete ass "Infinity Squared" and as you were the first person I talked to on the board, I assume that you are pretty indicative of the people who frequent here. As such, I'm outta here, dont expect me back. My contact info is below for anybody wanting to collab on a project, which I'm more then happy to do.
