Last Blood - another Samurai X video
Music: Paul Romero, Rob King, Steve Baca - Hope
Anime: Samurai X - Trust & Betrayal
Video: Last Blood
It's short and simplistic, which is exactly what I wanted. I didn't write my usual novella in the comments section because I don't have that much to say.
I hope you either enjoy the video or suffer because of it. I bank on the latter.
And yes, I know that HoMM4 was an awful game. Doesn't change the fact that the soundtrack is excelelnt.

Hey, you finally got around to getting this thing out.
And damn, I gotta say why the wait dude?
I absolutely loved this video. It was incredibly powerful in it's simplicity, you really brought out an intense mood and feeling to it. Definately one of my favs from you, without a doubt.
Awsm job

(btw, did you clean up the seizure scenes from the source? Because that is damn hot if you did, fucking hated those)

I just realized I havn;t seen anything from you since when I used to do those free op threads. Nearly a year ago. You sir have improved tremendously since then
Loved the video. simple but powerfull. And me saying that about a Kenshin OVA video means something ;p (not that I dislike Kenshin, just seen it too much in amvs) I also kinda liked the widescreen format, as it kinda gave a more cinematic feel to it, and helped make it a little more original for me with it being Kenshin OVA source.
The compression seemed a bit blocky at points though, not as in overcompression, but the kind of large block areas you get sometimes with a temporal smoother set too strong. Might just be the codec if you didn't have any internal smoothers set. Its not that strong though, just kinda noticable in some scenes.

Yeah, I definitely noticed the same problem, especially in the dark killing parts. I had hell with that (it was originally tinted red, which made the smoothing problem even worse), and I was able to settle for what I had after roughly three days of trying things out.Bakadeshi wrote: The compression seemed a bit blocky at points though, not as in overcompression, but the kind of large block areas you get sometimes with a temporal smoother set too strong.
What don't you blame Decoy for?Fall_Child42 wrote:I'm gonna go ahead and blame decoy for that.

Cool stuff. The video was well-edited, and the song brought back fond memories of playing HoM&M...
