Yeeeeeyyy!

Congrats on finally completing a solo video! It was great to see this video - and your editing - mature throughout this project's development. What can I say? You did a splendid job. I can't wait to see what you'll do next.

To everybody else - get this video now! :D

12:44:42 AM Otohiko AMV: I'm impressed beyond all reasonable... reason
12:44:45 AM Otohiko AMV: very consistent
12:44:47 AM Otohiko AMV: uh
12:44:55 AM Otohiko AMV: it was almost scary as far as lyric sync went sometimes
12:45:21 AM Otohiko AMV: almost too accurate in some ways, but for this kind of video I think it added to it
12:45:36 AM Otohiko AMV: I've no idea as far as what the story is like, but it kept visually and thematically consistent
12:45:43 AM Otohiko AMV: so... there you have it
12:45:52 AM Jasper: ehehehe

Congrats. I think it was well done. I was curious about it since I saw about the first 10 seconds in an early beta, and I'm glad it came out as well as it did; well, I have to admit, perhaps nicer than I expected.

High points for thematic and visual consistency. :)

wow... You need to do more solo projects more often ;p

I expected a good video from you considering you worked with Jasper on Absolution, but this still went beyond my expectations. Realy nice job on your first solo indevour. The lyrical sync was matched very well, a few times even a little too well... Like the "fever burning holes in your skin" line... haha
Editing was down to a T, not a single error in timing, and lots of detail to small beat matches that I notice alot in Jasper's videos also. Good attention to detail.

Visual quality is VERY good for a 33 meg file... I had doupts when I saw that filesize. Theres small artifacts I can see on my laptop screen, but still very good for the size. Nice job on the compresion too.

A very good Sentimental/Romantic video, and probably the first one to not use a single scene of action, just pure dramatic goodness. I like that.

5 well deserved stars, Get this people.

That was a really good video. It captured all the elements that I liked about Chrono Crusade. The video brought back all those feelings again. It was visually pleasing, simple, and effective.

Thanks bakadeshi for pointing out such a good video.

Haha, and of course I could never have done it without you! Thanks for all the support (and help T_T) you've given me <3

Haha, I knew the lyric sync might get snagged somewhere down the road, especially because it was eerily fitting to the show. I tried my best to downplay lyric sync and to emphasize more of the instrumental aspects of the music, but in some places I couldn't help myself.

I can definitely relate with that. You should have seen how shocked jasper and I were at the end of the encode. Ah well, all for the better I suppose.

Yes, I definitely tried to veer away from any action related scenes (and sometimes I managed to manipulated them to give a more "beautiful" effect :o). I love all of the Chrno Crusade action videos (the ones I've seen so far are amazingly timed and very well edited), but I felt that the Org needed some more sentimentality than effectsy action. I just hope that this is one of the first of many more to come.

Thank you very much for taking the time to watch it, and I'm really glad you enjoyed it! :)

This video was well done, I really enjoyed it. The way you focused on the sentimental side of Chrono Crusade is something fresh. Great job overall :D

This video pulled me in right from the start. Two thumbs up.

It had a really warm, uplifting mood that was really enjoyable for me, and also very different from other Chrono Crusade vids I've seen. There's some very nice timing and excellent flow in this. I also quite liked the "ripple" effect you did. I'll definitely be checking out any more vids you make in the future. :)
