ooooo, quite a few...
first, my Sailor moon sonic 2 vid... bad idea from the start... then because it was crappy quality i had to go in and REPAINT EVERY FRAME of the video... the whole video was blurred in certain parts frame by frame.. to up the quality ever so slightly... took me about 15 hours...
then again, on my latest video i spent about 40 hours making it.. then exported it all from AE... took it 82 hours to export.. and now i see things that i really need to fix... so that was kinda a waste of 82 hours..
have you ever watched any of my videos? then you know i have to many to list... go watch The Best DBZ Vid EVAR!! and see what i mean...

Not really a big mistake, but it's sad because it happens all the time. I tend to spend hours finetuning/playing-with a scene only to find out that it really isn't something I want into my AMV. I feel like those movie directors then.. spending time and money building a neat set and retake the scene until it's perfect.. only to find out that "sorry, this won't fit in.. we'll cut it out in the final release".

Back in Dec. I accidentally deleted the support files to every video I ever made, ever.
I lost all the backup data I was keeping for remastering purposes as well as the audio and project files for a couple of videos still in there infancy. The worst however was the lost of my ProjeKct Life stuff. It was like losing a complete, unreleased video, hours upon hours of work, in a second. Forunately the other editors in the project still had copies of my beta's and Huffys so a total loss was averted. But that was the worst AMV mistake I've made.
