I couldn't bring myself to read the first one.
Read the second one...and that person has problems (deeper issues lay in this troubled person's mind)
then I looked at how many signatures it had...6000+
out of the 30 that I read, 1 agreed...the others said something about being a nazi (some of those are pretty good)

She used Ah! My goddess as an example?!?
Goodness sakes. I would of at least gone for something more contriversal. Gunslinger Girls, Mezzo Forte, maybe even hellsing.
Ah! My Goddess has to be one of the most tame and cutest anime's that have ever exsisted. The anime doesn't even show kissing in the first ten episodes.
That was altogether funny.

Peter: Hey I just finished my script.
Brian: You know they say a thousand monkey's can write all of shakespere's works on typewriters after one hundred years.
Peter: And mine?
Brian: 3 monkey's, 5 day's.
...please tell me that wasn't an actual scene in the show. If it was, I'm gonna be severely disappointed to learn Seth's swiping from Dilbert.
(Seriously. I remember this comic from years ago. Dilbert in place of Peter, Dogbert in place of Brian...memory serves though, I think it was a novel in that one.)

Agreed! It's only anime that leaves with a small smile on my face after everytime I watch it. It's so wholesome!!!!older_gohan wrote:She used Ah! My goddess as an example?!?

Damn what a putz, I only read the Annie May Sucks part because it wasn't typed by someone missing all their fingers. if all he had to watch on tv was anime, then try going outside and play or read, i mean really, Dragontesticle Z?, you have 7 seconds to live Aha! though i gotta admit it was a funny joke.

God, I hate non-anime fans who have very big mouths. Some one needs to take those ppl aside and give them a wider view of animes out there, or a good punch to the face. Jeez.
*sigh* some ppl will never learn.

Grues plan to eat this thread.

I can't tell who's making the joke with that defense of anime. My gut reaction is that the forum 'anime-haters' took a good report and rewrote it to make the writer look like an idiot. If you actually read it, and ignore the more obvious !!!111 noob speak, it's a good defense, well thought out and not in any way written by someone who would spell anime 'annie may'. I don't see why no one has pointed that out yet. It's obviously a screw-over of a well written article.
My question: Who screwed it up? Was it the original writer - someone who really dislikes anime and wanted to make anime supporters look like idiots and so played devil's advocate for the sake of rewriting it in idiot-speak? Or was it the person who wrote the original anime-bashing article - angry that an anime fan could write as well as he could?
Either way, I'm surprised no one noticed how obvious the rewrite is. This isn't funny. It's distasteful.
