I liked it, but most of that is because I like the anime and you focused on Eyes a lot - my favorite character. I also like the song.
Capture - I didn't watch this at full screen, so if it's dvd rips you might want to raise the bitrate and make the file size about 10mbs for every minute of footage. If it's not dvd rips, you can rent the entire series from netflix pretty cheap. The editing was mixed. As a whole, it was slow, with scenes stalling while the music changes or gets faster. There were other parts where you used some nice transition scenes, like the car and the train, and some of the explosions landing on the beats. The editing looks like you made it without having an audio track that shows where the beats land - if you were using wmm 1.0 or something similar. If that's the case, you might want to upgrade to 2.0 or to a program that lets you see the beats so you can work on changing scenes or matching movements in the clip up better. An example is the scene with the redhaired guy using his cards - the music became dramatic and I didn't feel that from the scene at all (I know it was dramatic in the anime, but it didn't come through in the video).
My real problem with the video is the lyric sync - I've seen the anime, so I got a lot of the matches, but there were other parts that seemed random. Like the lead-in to 'faces of love', I couldn't tell if you were trying to use the girl for that, or if you just let that scene run out to its natural conclusion.
Keep in mind that I've recently done a video to this song, so I'm particular about the lyric sync. I definitely think this song fits the anime, I just thought different scenes would have fit some of the lyrics better than the ones you chose. Other than that, practice your beat sync and try not to use still clips very often, at least when the music is changing in the middle of the clip.
I'd write an actual op, but I kinda stopped doing that a while ago. ^_^; They tend to be long, and I score pretty strict for technical things. Still, nice anime-song combo, and I like the character focus a lot. We need more Spiral amvs...
