i'm concerned...what should i do?

i've downloaded many videos from this site and they are all sailor moon. i dont know if i joined late and nobody comes onine anymore...but it seems that nobody views my AMVs

why do people have hits in the thousands when i can barely hit 100? can someone please suggest a way i can advertise my AMVs better cuz i spend so much time on them and i just want people to watch them and tell me what they think. i take great pride in my work...

When you upload a new vid, do you post a thread in the Announcements forum?

You can also announce via your journal (for the journal drama bunch).

dont worry man it took me a long time just to pass the 500 mark on 2 of my vids. youll get hits if you keep on posting in the boards and dont act stupid

Don't sweat it - it takes time for ops for everybody. Try the announcements, your journal, opinion exchange - those'll advertise your vid some.

If it was made a long while ago, the hits might start to slow down.

Or it could there's something about the music or your title that doesn't interest watchers or doesn't describe your vid well.

Another way to advertise yourself is make opinions and post here in the forum just to get your name out. Make friends on the org to get feedback from them. Try new animes. Make a new vid, that could draw attention to the vids you already have. Worked ok for me. Good luck!

I've also noticed people seem to download on Direct a whole lot more than on Local - at least for me. That could up your hits a bunch.

thanks for the comments everybody. maybe my titles could be more interesting. i never tried the journal feature. i've only been here for a month but it seems worthwhile to try. i would try new anime but i really didnt like too much anime besides sailor moon and ronin warriors. i tried to use a variety of music...

I think the important thing is making videos that YOU like, not neccessarily what will get you more hits. If you like what you create, then there will be other people that like it too.
