Then you would likely never even realize that someone took it from your video.

I wouldn't care.

My vids are so 'set' that 9/10 dance vid lovers would notice something is afoot.

Then again, dance vids are the vids nobody likes so I'm relatively safe... I think...

Notice how I never mentioned "anime music" video in the first post? That is because I was not referring to "anime music" video, I was more referring to animated videos made by animation studios.
Al'x, you are a fucking Genius. You dropped a line and people swallowed it hook, line, sinker, and fishing pole.

Look at it this way people: If someone has some dumbass friends stupid enough to belive that that person editied a video he didn't, what do you care? Few people on this site will be fooled and it certainly won't gain any sort of recognition without being found out.

The reason that admins deleate these videos (in my oppinion) is because they are duplicate/bogus video entries and they are trying to keep the database as accurate as possible.

I would like to give a tip of the hat to the people who put their blood sweat and tears into producing this artwork, and then let us play with it for our own amusement and peer recognition.

You anime folks are having some spooky luck when it comes to the courtesy of the industry you feed upon. If I were a major animation studio I would simply not allow anyone to use anything we had produced for any purpose, unless he or she handed it in first and got our permission.

Yeah, I wonder why the studios never write any thankyou notes for the insane advertising they get! I mean, flashing random frames at people who are going to buy anything that's realeased because it's an anime after all, accompanied by horrible music, possibly giving away some or most of the surprises in the plot, jesus, if that isn't going to increase sales then what is? Sure some amv's are great advertising. That's why I'd demand to see stuff before it was spread around.

Trailers are a lot like that, I seem to recall a trailer spoiling the end to "The Truman Show" and people still went to see that. Hell, usually the spoilers, are 'the good stuff' that sparks interest among those that would usually not give the series a time of the day. As a lot of the Best Animation scenes are during the 'spoilers' thats probably why you see them a lot in AMV's.

As for 'Flashy, Random stuff' hell man, thats not your cup of tea. I get that now. A lot of people like them though and the details are in how well that stuff flows togather (Editing wise). Since they are put togather like that it lessens the spolerific parts in a sense.

It does work in a sense. AMV's though not made for advertising the anime's (They can be completely fasle story's like "Whisper of the Beast") they still advertise a certain aspect of what you might be getting if you decide to watch that anime.

Hell, the studios may be changing there minds now that anime has gotten more popular but methinks no.
