Please observe the following unique rules for this forum:
  • Please limit your new threads (not replies) to one per week. If you have several new videos to announce, create one thread for all the videos. (Note: if you forget one you can edit your post!)
  • Offsite links are allowed, but you are required to have a catalog entry for that video as well. Threads announcing videos that do not contain a catalog entry will be moved to the Awaiting Catalog Entry sub-forum and will be deleted in 2 weeks if an entry is not created.
  • When posting announcements, it is recommended that you include links to the catalog entries (using the video ID) in your post.
  • Videos that do not contain anime are allowed to be announced in the Other Videos section and are not required to have catalog entries.

Online Iron Chef 2.0 - R1 - Tono_Fyr vs. AquaSky

Here's my Iron Chef video from my round 1 competition with Tono. My source was Saber Marionette J Again (disc 2), and the song was Britney Spears Vs. B-52s - Toxic Shack. http://www.aquaskyproductions.com/AquaS ... rShack.avi
It was a good match. Had various technical issues decide to pop up on me at the last minute, but was able to work around them for the most part. Tono's video was also quite good, and it was a fun round. Anyhow, enjoy. :P

Note to self: Kill Hsein and Atom for forcing me to edit with this, I nearly had an annuerism towards the end.

Also, yes, I chopped the audio straight to hell. That was the point. I came across a point where the layers got too jumbled, and I cut it. I was trying to go for some weird comedy/horror thing. Dunno if it actually worked or not, though... Aquas had a lot more literal synch, but as soon as I heard the song I said "oh fuck, I know she's going to be able to make it work out better than I can ever dream of" so I reverted to my most basic instincts: Synch the hell out of it. It's really hard to edit to music that you don't like.

Oh yeah, one more thing, we'll have to do an exibhition sometime. That was enough fun to the point where I want to try it where we're on more even ground. Also, my footage wasn't already ripped. My methods just don't take long outside of ripping. Thirty minutes for ripping, maybe seven for processing.
