This is a bit specific, but I'm sure someone knows. I own Silent Hill 3, and it comes with a soundtrack. After a bit of research, I came to realize that this is, in fact, the complete soundtrack.
However, I have one issue. The very first song on the soundtrack, "Lost Carol," is one of my favorites from that game. It sports a thirty second version of the piece - a shortened version. The one in the game is much longer. Unfortunately, it plays during a scene with talking, so I can't just record it from the game itself.
I suppose I have two questions, then. Is there a different soundtrack out there that I'm not finding? If not, does someone miraculously have the full version of this song without the talking? I really can't think of any other way to obtain it if there's no soundtrack to buy. (Of course, one has to wonder where anyone else would get a clean version of it if it doesn't exist... >_< )
Help?

*sigh* Well, that sucks. Some soundtrack if it doesn't even have the complete version of one of its game's pieces. I'm going to ask one other person about it yet, but it's looking like I just won't be able to get the piece. It's too bad. It's really gorgeous.
Anyway, thanks for searching. I appreciate it. ^_^

There is a different version of the soundtrack that was released in Japan (Amazon link). After some searching, it seems that the version of Lost Carol is 0:37 on the Japanese release as well.
If there really is a longer version in the game itself, there are other possible ways to rip it. Just find me online and I'll see if I can't give you a hand with it.
