I beleive I am more a computer watcher. I have more control over what I see and if I really liked a specific part I can easily watch it over and over. I haven't seen that many amvs on the tv so I can't really judge on that. As far as cons, I like seeing some of the newer classic videos on there to get a different experience of it. For example, I never get tired of seeing Odorikuruu on the big screen. I just get pumped and then everyone around me gets pumped. There is this surge of energy that you can't get at home.

With my videos, I like to see it on the computer or the tv. I can see all the details that get lost at the cons. It's nice to see and hear reactions but sitting here in front of the computer I can relieve the feeling of making the video.

after having my first amv making it to a big con, i will never get used to seeing it on the big screen. Yes its exciting and yes u feel the effect, but got damn it's nerve racking....

In any case accually ive come to enjoy watching amvs on my psp for some reason, especally when im doing ops at work. But i love watching other ppls vids at cons for sure. As far as the comp goes, if i can sit threw a vid it has somthing that catches my intrest otherwise ill turn that mofo off.
Oh god, that black dude with the afro is always making those damn trash ass music hip hop amvs...he needs to do something with techno or rock....
.......as if I would do something like that.

Playing at cons, not so great, in my opinion. I don't like there to be a whole lot of people around me watching AMVs. I prefer to be alone, so I guess the computer and on T.V.

Very seldom do I watch AMVs on the computer anymore. When I'm finished watching an AMV, it either gets deleted, or moved to a "burn-to-DVD" folder. Once there's enough (about 20-25), I'll make a DVD, with a lable & the works. THEN they get deleted.

I've never been to a con, but I do enjoy watching AMVs with a bunch of friends in a comfy home-theater system :)

If wrote on a SVCD or a VCD, the TV never shown any amv properly in mine experience. So I always prefered to whatch them on my computer, especially mines (when showing to others). Things change with DVDs, even if the encoding usually have to be different, but I like to see them on TV in particular cases, like birthdays, christmas, and particular days. So my final answer is: "My computer".

I'm never gone to a contest. But I would like to.. Really. :P

Easier to watch... hmm... probably at cons. The volume and screen size usually make even the most boring videos somehow more interesting.

As for my own videos it's easiest to watch them at home on my computer or television. If the video is part of a contest then I have to admit it's not easy to wait and watch it at a con... I think it was Wonka who told me that I appeared to be "dying a million deaths" while watching the masters contest at AWA8. But regardless of freaking out, it is definitely exciting and fun to see the videos on the big screen. I think the most rewarding and easiest experience is watching a project you directed actually work... and seeing how much the audience enjoys it. So if VG3 breaks for some reason I'll hopefully be able to laugh... but inside I will be dying.

My videos: At cons. The feeling of seeing/hearing the crowd reaction is a hojillion times more enjoyable than anything else I've felt watching them by myself.

If I'm watching a dramatic video and the crowd is being really annoying and/or sarcastic I'd prefer to watch it at home though. The feeling one can get from watching something invoking or tear-jerking is delicate and someone making an unwanted comment can easily break that feeling.

Con's definantly con's... the big screen and the crowd behind you just makes you go wild enspecialy if you make the crowd go wild ^^ this also includes my own video's as those of the other people.

at home basicly every video gets a test run on my pc first and if i realy realy REALY like it, i pop it on my media center for tv viewing =)
