I still think that the masks for the synching at the beginning were a nice and somehow new idea. The video in a whole is pretty original, I like it. For a first video great work! 8-)

ok.... that was a very weird combo.. I mean I wouldn;t see this kind of music going with the anime in a million years, yet it somehow still worked. interesting take on the show, Editing was solid, but although I admit it worked for the idea I think you were going for, I didn't care much for the music.

Hey !
Thank you so much everybody  .
I didn't expect the video to be understood and accepted that good.
I must admit that I am quiet proud of it. I hope I will be able to satisfy the audience in the future too.

hey,

Very good for a first video, but there are still a couple points for improvement. Up until the second grayscale break it seemed like there was way too little in-frame motion and the guitar line was being essentially ignored. When the music is moving and the video is basically sitting on a single static frame, it's not cool. However, this did pick up in the second half of the video, so it probably won't be an issue in the future.

Subtitles = big thumbs-down. Insomnium is eminently intelligible (unlike, say, Shadow, they actually enunciate), and to watch this video without annoyance I had to put my hands over part of my screen. In the future, include lyrics in the video description entry, release in a container that allows soft-subs, or just let the audience figure it out for themselves.

This was not a great video, but I enjoyed it despite now having fingerprints on my LCD, and look forward to your future works. It's always good to see other people picking up the banner of extreme music, not least because I feel less guilty when I go several projects without releasing a metal video.

Shin Hatsubai is a Premiere-free studio. Insomni-Ack is habitually worthless.

Thanks for your detailed review mr Stromler.
Well I guess you are right in the most points, but my subtitles have a good reason to be there, this way non-metalheads have the opportunity to understand everything without printing themselves the lyrics out. Another point, why I used them was, that this video took part in a contest, where the whole audience should understand it. Thanks again :D
In metal we trust do what has to be done  !

I think also that subtitles are very distracting for an musicvideo.
But as he pointed out it was for a contest. He had to make sure non-metalers could also understand that this is no fun amv.

Editing was a bit off on some parts but all in all it was well done. I also think it helped making the audience aware that AMVs can also be done to metal and not only to techno-pop.
