Alright since I outed my video and won't be at the convention itself to see the reaction should it actually be played I released it in the org (link in signature)

And just a warning yes it is Final Fantasy VIII and no it is not romance. Enjoy.

Fun short ff8 video. I enjoyed this on the Pro DVDs. good work.
I liked that you used scenes not overused.

The videos greatest weakness is probably the less than favorable video quality associated with FF8 footage, though you can't really do much about that.

Yeah, as Bakadeshi said, I really dug that you used more of the uncommon FF8 footage. The conecpt's definitely original (and the combination's unexpected), with good overall beat-sync. I enjoyed it.

Heh, yeah the whole lack of any scenes from the opening and also the ballroom scene. Those two scenes along with Spike falling out of the cathedral window and dancing vash are quite possibly the most overused ever in amv's.

I refused to even load those two culprits into the project.

And yeah only so much can be done to improve the quality of something when the original is only 320*240. although if you really want I can download some stuff and make sure it has tons of logos and other evil cuprits in there.

Maybe a few subtitles (despite them not existing in the original)
