You know, for a first AMV, that's pretty good. In fact, that's damn good for a first one.

I haven't seen Ayashi no Ceres, and I don't know the song, so I can't really say how well you matched the song lyric-wise, but I can say that your beat sync was great. Most people just throw clips into a timeline for their first video, but you really paid attention to detail and timing.

My biggest complaint is that I really don't think the tone of the song matched the violence, suffering, and death theme of the video. It wasn't a happy song, by any means, but it just wasn't depressing enough for the imagery you had.

The two comments you'll likely hear most often in an opinion are these:
1. Having lips move is distracting if the characters are not actually lip synching.
2. The video is too long. While I don't mind song length myself, you usually can't snag a big audience with anything over five minutes.

Even though I don't know the anime, the video was definitely worth the download and I can't wait to see more from you! You really do have promise and I hope you'll stick with AMV making.

As always, Farewell, Good Luck, and Happy AMV-ing!

I didn't like the beggining too well(first minute or so), but I did enjoy the rest of the video quite a bit. If I could understand the lyrics, I could have found it more dramatic since the music didn't sound too dramatic sounding to me. Over all nice job, especially for a 7 minute video! ^_^

Well I'm as lazy as JCD in this case and since DJ already wrote the most important things, all I can do is just to add that I liked it too.
