Pimp GMVs to me!

Post by SQ » Sat Jul 02, 2005 7:48 pm

I'm looking for any Game Music Videos.

I'd like some good ones. Preferably ones that are of very high quality, to blowing them up on a huge screenw on't result in pixellation.

I don't care what genre they're in, what video game they're from, or even if it's in-game footage or FMVs.
I don't care if it's on the .org or not, and I couldn't care less if the game was made by Japan or not.

So please, whore ot me some GMVs! :P

I'm going to bed right now, but I know I have a bunch for you, so I'll get back to you tomorrow.

Why do you want them, anyway?

If I told you I'd have to kill you. xP

For right now, my personal collection/storage. For February, perhaps something else. But I am not sure yet. It may have something to do with a projection screen. And it may also have something to do with me being the head of AMV tech for a certain place.

But it most definately will have to do with mass permission-asking around January.

I did check there first, but I'm looking for more of the GMVs that American gamers play and have fun with. Final Fantasy, Sonic, Mortal Kombat, Mario, Devil May Cry, etc.

Don't point me toward the Super Nintendo Project, DDR Projects, or the RVP, either... I've got those down. (Although DDR didn't use game footage, so I didn't want it anyway).

Gwar. Lack of Brain working.

There used to be a videogamemusicvideos.com, but they either lost the domain and never told me where they moved to, or just shut down.

Gee, I sure hope this helps...

I'm so sorry it has taken me so long to reply. I just got lazy, I think. And I was doing craploads of free opinions...which I still have to do yet. Anyway, most of these videos are Final Fantasy, which you said was part of what you wanted, so I hope it's okay. I'll even give you links to 'em. ^_~

Sierra Lorna - Final Fantasy VIII-X-2 - Savage Garden - "Crash and Burn" - Ignited Solitute: Remastered
Nessephanie - Final Fantasy IX - Within Temptation - "Stand My Ground" - Determination
Sylver620 - Final Fantasy IX - BoA - "We (Oori)" - Sylver-FF9-We
BishounenStalker - Final Fantasy VII - Savatage - "This Isn't What We Meant" - What God Has Sent
-Renegade- - Final Fantasy VIII - Rob Dougan - "Furious Angels (vocal)" - The wrath of the Angels
AtomX - Final Fantasy VIII - Various Artists - "Somewhere Over the Rainbow" - Why...? Can't...? I...?
Anton Kleshchyov - Final Fantasy VIII - Nickelback - "Hero" - Noise
Sylver620 - Final Fantasy X - Olivia Lufkin - "Space Halo" - Sylver-FFX-Space Halo
Yuna - Final Fantasy X and X-2 - Vanessa Carlton - "Ordinary Day" - Just a Dream
greenjinjo - Final Fantasy X-2 - Outkast - Various Songs - SpeakerboxxX-2
Tyler_yj - Resident Evil 2 and 3 - Juno Reactor Vs Don Davis - "Burly Brawl" - RE2 and RE3 - Burly Brawl
Nemoxs, Katsumi_AMVs - Various Games - Front 242 - "Religion" - Burning Down !
Muyo_Ryu - Various Games - Alien Ant Farm - "Smooth Criminal" - Crime That Pays

Uh, I think that's everything. I really hope it helps because it took me quite a while to tag all of those videos. I can pretty much promise that all of the videos are very good, but some of them may not have utterly spectacular video quality. Still, it should be good enough for your purposes.

Sorry again for my lateness.

PS: I wish that there were more good DMC videos. I've wasted the last month on my life on the third game - and am still doing that, to be honest - so I kind of wish that there were better videos to it.

My computer doesn't have a DVD drive, so I'm stuck doing PS1 game music videos until I get one. I could raid my mom's computer, which does have a DVD drive, but I don't know how to rip PS2 games anyway. Actually, I think I would have to capture with DMC, but I don't know anything about that.

I would love to make a DMC video, though. I have tons of ideas floating about in my head.

I counter all of those with Geode's Insert Disk 2! Basically it has almost every RPG game in this nice action video. :D

And while you're at it, check out Brothers of Liberty which uses Super Smash Brothers! 8-)
