Need some sad anime

Post by O Sliggity Slice » Sun Apr 10, 2005 5:11 pm

I am looking for a show that deals with the idea of someone/something very innocent and pure having to deal with immense hardships and rising above them. I've looked at Grave of the Fireflies, but I want to know if there are any other shows/films that fit this description.

Surely Saikano

I third Saikano. The whole thing is one huge angstfest - not to mention that it's a pretty good anime, too.

X could work, too, but Saikano is probably the best one.

Farewell, Good Luck, and Happy AMV-ing!

Last few episodes of Air TV were a tear-jerker.
