This isn't quite what your point is, but I wouldn;t call naruto a DBZ clone. DBZ is mostly just sensless fighting as you said. Naruto has alot of ... umm... what am I looking for... Morals? things to learn from I guess? Like how naruto is hard working and always tries his best despite no one recognizing his strength until he makes them recognize it. One reason I like Naruto alot more than DBZ. I see your point also though, seeing the same stuff over and over again in amvs do tend to get old.

As for the video, I am getting it now that Kero is back up ;p (tried to get it from your ops thread before when it was down)

But....Naruto was inspired by DBZ.... :|

I forgot what it was, but there's something that tells you everything DBZ taught you.. I only remember a few.. Loyalty, Love, Friendship, Courage, Determination, etc... I'll do a search on it and see if I can find anything. But calling DBZ senseless fighting makes me think you've seen 2 episodes. :|

Just wanted to mention at 02:02 the timing in the gray parts were meh.. they weren't right on. =/

Eh, I guess I should put it as DBZ has alot of sensless fighting IN it.
There were parts I liked. (Like the part where gohan fought cell) I think the most anoying thing is when the characters just start getting super strong and it just seems like its a show of brute power rather than any actual skill. (where its diferent in naruto)

And actually I've seen every episode of DBZ, most of dragon ball, and most of GT. The manga I think is better though, fights don't seem as drawn out and all that.

Btw, don't get me wrong, I don't hate DBZ, I just like naruto better ;p

Good thread, this is a good thing to discuss, and I never been able to parecipate to something like this here^^ So, DragonBall have a really fun and good sense in the absolutely first serie, when Goku is a little child, it don't have a "deep" moral or story, but surely it is not annoying, anyway we can call DBZ the heart of DragonBall since only that serie count nearly 480 episodes. As Bakadeshi said, and I quote him in all, there are fights that actually can be really appreciated like the one he said, but in the end, sadly DragonBall ends with this storyline and this "moral" => "Earth is in danger, I train, I become Super Sayan and I beat the Enemy; Earth is again in danger, the enemy is more stronger, I train, I become Super Sayan 2 and I beat him; Earth is, unbelievable, again in danger, the enemy is more stonger, I train, I become Super Sayan 3 and... SO ON." Of course it have a lot of significates, but surely the manga is different, 42 volumes. The anime is actually 500 episodes and more, this make it.. Annoying, I grew up with DragonBall, I loved it and this is something I think many people can say, but seeing how the things are going now, It is normal to judge DB in this way and we have right, I think. Now, Naruto is been ispired from some mangakas and some ideas of other animes, OF COURSE DragonBall is in them, countig that Kishimoto himself (the creator of Naruto) admitted that, but again quoting bakadeshi, Naruto is quite different, the story focus on many types of character in a very deep, and many times really wonderful way, and if watched in a not-that-critic way, passion could win you. Anyway, I'm quote worried watching how things are going, in the manga (WARNING, *SPOILER*) we have things like "Sasuke LV2" and so on, .. I'm a little worried about that, but we'll see ;)

Ok, I'm sleepy so I don't know if I wrote crazy things, so.. Warning XD

LOL
You had to say that didn't you Michele?
Anyway I pretty much agree with Michele and Bakadeshi about naruto being different from DBZ and other series while it still has it's ideas and changes.
I liked DBZ alot but found alot of flaws in the show. I'd say if naruto took anything from DBZ, it was learning where the show went wrong.
For example when it became only about power but there was no place for skill in fights.

Back to the AMV since that is what this thread is about...supposed to be.
I really enjoyed this AMV.
Although it's mostly action and fighting, what can I say, the effects and smoothness won me
Laura you did a really good job as always.
I love your AMVs and hope you keep doing your thing

By the way,
I totally agree with you about the way people treat naruto AMV creators.
It's not that it's wrong to get tired of the same scenes.
What's wrong in my point of view is telling a person not to make a video of a certain anime because others do or because the show is popular or because you're tired of it.
What you don't like isn't necessarily bad.
