So they just thought "MAD" sounded cool somehow? Where does the word come from?

I don't get it we do amvs and they do mads? But basically are the same identical thing?

I am european, so I'm gonna find another way to call them... Let's see...

probably because the Japanese MAD community and the rest of the AMV community has been pretty much seperate until recently. So they are used to calling it MADs and we AMVs. Thats my guess anyway ;p

Wow, a manga AMV. I did not even know that was possible. Can I still call it an AMV, or should I go MMV?

Anyhow, I am downloading it and will give it a full opinion in the OP field.
