MADs and Japanese-made Videos
This thread is for recommending the very best amvs that are either made by Japanese amv creators or are in the style of Japanese MADs.
MADs are amvs made in japan and are generally categorised as either Douga MADs (animation MADs) or Seisiga (Still Pictures MADs). The latter being the one most people associate with the term "MADs"

I've really only seen one MAD to date (although I may have seen others and been unaware of the fact that they were Japanese-made), but I absoluely love it.
It's a very upbeat and fun video. Also, the effects are simply amazing. Plus, it features the most seamless use of game stills that I've ever seen incorporated into a largely anime video. A very polished and enjoyable video.

Believe
VicBond007's Believe using Kanon PC. I fell in love with during Otakon 2004.

Considering only a few exist on the org yet, but my favorite so far has to be Cyuson's Slver Dream
C'mon guys I know you've not seen it! I'm the only one that's op'ed it.

Here's a very good video that just got posted recently:
The editor is Japanese so they don't speak very good english, and understandibly have not posted any summary (so please keep that in mind if you choose to review). This video, obviously, uses the anime movie You're Under Arrest and aptly titles it so. However the editing is very ... well ... "Japanese". It's done strictly in that familiar MAD style of editing we are familiar with seeing and takes full advantage of the moving pictures (as opposed to animating still images in traditional MADs).
There's a lot a neat effects but nothing seriously "over emphasized"and everything flows nicely at a brisk pace. This is quite posibly the best You're Under Arrest: The Movie video I've seen.

Here's another douga MAD creator, Chack'n
The song sounds VERY campy like it's from one of those old 70s anime series, but the pacing is actually pretty good. The video is rather simplistic though so don't expect retro-looking effects.
