Ok....I know that this is probably an issue all the time but I'm really in a situation.
I made a video, saved it as a ".wav" and then tried entering it into the site. I put in all the right information and then went to upload. Nothing. So then I went to the FAQ and found I needed an FTP Server thing in order for it to work. Went and got that too. So I figure I'm all set but it still won't let me upload. I come to this forum to see if there are answers. Turns out people are having the same problem as me. I found the guide that shows you how to sign up properly (http://www.angelfire.com/anime5/downloa ... deoup.html) and went through all the "Edit My Video" steps again. And yet, I still cannot upload a video. I've gone back to the "Upload Video" link on the members page several times to see if it would ever come up if I Refreashed or went back and clicked on the link again but I still haven't gotten anything. And as an added bonus, any other FTP servers I use don't tell me exactly what I'm doing wrong when the video doesn't upload.
Once again, I know this is probably an always present problem popping up but I really am at a total loss as to what to do. PLEASE HELP!!!!

"wav" designates an audio format, not a video format. This 1s Wrong wrote:Ok....I know that this is probably an issue all the time but I'm really in a situation.

You don't need a server, you need a client.and then tried entering it into the site. I put in all the right information and then went to upload. Nothing. So then I went to the FAQ and found I needed an FTP Server thing in order for it to work.
If you received a username and password, you need to enter that information into the FTP client. And yet, I still cannot upload a video. I've gone back to the "Upload Video" link on the members page several times to see if it would ever come up if I Refreashed or went back and clicked on the link again
but I still haven't gotten anything.

Yeah...said some stupid things in the last post. FIrst...I always get ".wav" and "wmv" mixed up for some reason so the file type is the latter. Second...I don't know about this whole server/ client thing before. Trying to figure it out. And third....I know what I'm supposed to do in order for everything to work...it's just not happening. I've read that a-m-v.org gives you a username and password but the page never comes up and it always says my all the information for the video isn't there when I've done it a million times and it is.
(Not being defensive....just clearring stuff up....hope this makes my problem more clear...)
