How Do You...

Post by WBJ » Wed Mar 16, 2005 4:39 pm

Yesterday i was watching some of this year VCA wining videos. Some of the effects used were incredible; you guys really know what you’re during. So here’s my question. Did you guys used tutorials to do those effects? Are they plugins? i just finished my first amv and someday i want to do some of the effects you guys use. I have Adobe Premiere Pro 1.5, After Effects 6.0 and Photoshop CS. i only know how to use Premiere so far.

Thanks for your Time.

Premiere Pro and Photoshop 5.5 baby! 8-)

(... But knowing how to make paths in Photoshop instead of using the polygonal lasso for everything would have helped.)

Photoshop is for still images as you said- which can be integrated into AMVs efficiently, as AEO:EB has proven.
It's very useful to AMV making.

i saw an effect that was very interesting. i saw this effects several times but the latest one that i can remember is by istiv sprit never dies vid. the effect was when istiv overlaid another footage that looked like a cutout put onto a footage. I don’t know how to explain it but istiv uses it several times in the vid. so i was wondering is there a name for this effect and was it done by using Photoshop.
