Lookin for computer-based Anime

Post by Bulghod » Wed Mar 16, 2005 10:19 pm

Hey, i just got Daft Punk's Human After All album and want to do a video to "Technologic"

i want to find some anime that involves a lot of use of computers, files, CDs, modern technological devices. but not futuristic, sci-fi, or cyberpunk like Ghost in the Shell, Gundams or Cowboy Bebop

i'm thinkin like Lain, Boogiepop Phantom, and maybe Voices of a Distant Star

I don't think Hoshi no Koe(Voices of a Distant Star) contained much, if any, footage of computers, cds, etc.

Hoshi no Koe was more about mecha robots, space ships, and a cell phone with a really good connection through space.

There's also Hand Maid May. Very computer-centric, but not futuristic. Sounds like what you're looking for.

Chobitsu

Chobits, maybe? It's still a modern day sort of anime, and it has a lot to do with computers and technology. I'm not sure it fits in with anime like Lain, but there's my two cents anyway.

As always, Farewell, Good Luck, and Happy AMV-ing!

You could try and pull parts from Evangelion when they're just showing the computers, programs, etc. and not the Evas.
I've been gone for around 2 years and will be making a come back.
