Direct = Provide the web address of the video when you put in the video info.

Local = Upload it via FTP to the Donut (Org Local Server).

It depends on the filesize of your video and your connection speed. I usually don't get much more than 38KB/s, and I'm on DSL. For a four minute video, that takes around 35 minutes, I think.

For a four minute video, I mean 40 MB file.
