High ping on Nago

Taking me a pretty long time to access Local downloads. Anyone else noticing this?

That's actually the second time I've noticed this, first was a couple of days ago.

Seems fine to me... Pinging google and other urls results in a similar roundtrip times and starting downloads seems the same also... Perhaps it is your connection?

It could be, but it seems it only happens at certain periods of time and primarily for the local site, which usually runs seems to go very fast on my connection. Which leads me to certain conclusions...

On the other hand, oddly enough, the actual d/l speed was actually noticeably faster than usual today. Wonder why.

When I was having this problem (I guess about 12 hours ago), all the requests for Local downloads (i.e. to Nago) were taking forever to process, but once the downloads themselves started they were fine.

Must have been a one-shot deal if there's no problem with it now, though.

I suspect its just that Nago is getting near its limits (e.g., maxing out the 100mbps NIC). Kero has gigabit and will soon be serving videos.
