Two Languages? o_O
I just finished ripping a DVD but all the parts where the characters are talking, it's playing both Japanese and English... Has this happened to anyone else? And if so, do I keep it on just english?
The Languages are overlapped so it sounds really weird, even the music...

I met a lone man in the desert, a traveling priest, Nicholas D. Wolfwood. He smiled and then told me that I'm a troubled man. Faced with his all-seeing smile, there was nothing I could say in my defense. Did I meet this man because I was destined to? Or was it simply by a small jest of God? The man's name is Nicholas D. Wolfwood, a traveling priest I met in the desert...

???
How do you switch it to only one language with DVDDecryter?
In "Mode" and "Tools" it only has letters that don't make any sense to me... So I'm going to try and figure that out on my own. But if I'm not on the right track, can you please push me in the right direction? ^_^

Um...
I went searching for DGInex, and when I downloaded it, it came up with DVD2AVI... Are they like the same thing?

Re: Um...
DGIndex is the name of the most recent incarnation of DVD2AVI, so in a certain sense they are the same thing. They've both got the same general purpose: indexing of MPEG-2 video streams and demuxing/decoding of audio from .VOB and other MPEG-2 files.ChuyNoGo wrote:I went searching for DGInex, and when I downloaded it, it came up with DVD2AVI... If you're going to use DVD2AVI, be sure to get version 1.76.

Ok, I have version 1.76 command, but the thing is that when I finished ripping the DVD, it said that the AVI file was currupt... What do you think could have happened?

Don't use DVD2AVI to save AVI files, as counterintuitive as that sounds.
Use it to save .D2V project files which can then be loaded by other programs.

Okay...
I finnally got the thing to work, but now there's no sound at all, I've tried it three times 3 different ways, but none of them have sound... The picture's fine and all... But yeah, nothing to hear.
I'm on my fourth try now, seeing if the thing will work this time... Hey, but at I got it play with Real Player now! ^_^
