Convert help (WMV -> AVI)
Well, I have to use Windows Movie Maker 2.1 for my AMV's, but the farthest I can get with AVI is about to saving it in the multi- GB form. After which, I opened the AMV in virtual dub, but it said it uses a windows codec that It cannot use. It gives an Avi option, but that one doesnt work either... So Im looking for a way to either save it as a different AVI, or find a way to change the codec. I wanted to know if any of you know a way around this? I really want to remove those subtitles... PLEASE HELP ME OUT.

Well, some/all Windows Media Codecs cannot be opened in VdubMOD due to some restriction on third party applications. (Correct me if I'm wrong.)
What you can do is make a AVSscript
But the again, you can easily convert the WMV to avi by using eo-video converter.

And Vdub should be able to open the WMV file indirectly through AVS.DirectShowSource("Clip")

The AMVapp is a collection of very useful applications that are used for video editing. AVIsynth is among the tools that it comes with. You can get it here:
http://www.animemusicvideos.org/guides/ ... mvapp.html
You can download AVIsynth individually by going to http://www.avisynth.org/ , but I still recommend the AMVapp as it comes with other useful tools.
Learning AVIsynth:

http://www.avisynth.org/index.php?page=YourFirstScript
And I highly recommend you read the guides as it is an excellent guide to All things about Video and Audio.
