There's Japanese originated games, and there's American originated games.

Well all of the games he used except Mortal Kombat are Japanese games so it's supposed to be aloud. Kinda like when you slip some live action into a mostly anime video.

Thanks for bring that up. I'm personally against the idea mixing non-anime stuffs with anime stuffs. But since the Final Fantasy FMVs are acceptable, I hope other games' FMVs are acceptable, too.

That is where you are completely wrong. Only FMVs from Japanese-originated games are aloud (Final Fantasy is the major one). If it's an American game, it's not aloud. Mortal Kombat, for instance. It's American.

Since this is a mixed video, I wouldn't know what to think. I know any sort of live action = a big NO, so I'm going to assume the same for American games.

the fact that you opened this topic under the header 'mortal kombat deception' basically tells it all

non-japanese animation orientated material is tolerable as long as it's not the bulk of the material

i'm sure there's no set ratio to rate videos with, but the majority should definately be japanese animation related in order to be added to the catalog here

...will be sad for me when i make a video with an american movie and have to find my own hosting and webpage

Hey man, pretty sweet vid. The editing was very tight and slick. My only complain is the IVTC was pretty off. You need a better encoded version, otherwise, this video is pretty sweet man.

How about instead of being a bunch or rules lawyers we comment on the actual video that someone spent a lot of time and effort to make. Wether its aloud or not is not your concern.

Nice vid. I like the selection of sources you chose. and the editing was nicely timed.
