As much as I think it's a good idea to reward creative lyric sync though, I really doubt the value of such a mark - I mean, on the one hand, perhaps encouraging more lyric sync is not what we exactly need, mainly because I think it would result in spawning a hellstorm of cheesy, too-literal attempts to get it right. And on the other hand, the difficulties with judging it. Sometimes good lyric sync may go over my head entirely until I dig deeper, which some reviewers may not even bother with. Sometimes all I want in my video is partial lyric sync, or some non-literal lyric sync - but if it were a category like the optional 'effects' and 'lip-sync' ones, should I check 'lyric sync' in such a case or not? It would be reasonable to do it, but knowing that this may result in an undeservedly-low mark, I may be tempted not to, which sort of defeats the purpose of having such a rating for videos with lyrics.
What it seems like is a technical marking category for a subjective element. That could potentially result in a lot of confusion and bitterness, for those who take ops seriously...
