There might be one reason why that was. I watch everything dubbed and so do a lot of other people. If I suddenly switched to japanese I would proabably thing it was horrible because I am not use to it. Such as I did in Kenshin. Kenshin's voice, I liked in english and hated in Japanese, but if I was to watch everything in Japanese, then I would proabably hate his english voice. Neither really suck, for the most part, it is just which one you start out with. If you start out as a dub person you'll most likely stay that way, and if you start out as a sub person you will most likely stay that way. So, how you start is what you like. The only english dubbing I didn't really like was some of the characters if FLCL, and some of the women in Love Hina (which I finally got around to seeing). But I got use to them, so this is merly my logic!

Re: English Dubbed Anime
who gives a damn if it was all done by one person ? a good vioce actor is able to do a variety of convinsing vioces. and if you've watched anime with jap audio most of the time, off cource your gona feel a certian distaste when watching english dubs for the first few times. eventualy you end up watching a good amount of anime both with jap and english audio, and then you learn not to give the shit.Poetic_Kaos wrote:Just received Haibane Renmei in the mail today. It was the first time I ever heard the English voice over, and I have to it was horrible. In fact, I swear it is the same person doing the dubbing for most of the characters.
great anime though, Haibane Renmie is. used it in an amv ive almost finished.

Meh, I'd say he's actually alright at English, relatively speaking. The thing is, he talks with a lisp - even in Japanese. That's what made that sound awkward.AMVfreak wrote:Actually that japanese teenager made me crack up even louder. Oh my god, that was so funny. His english was very awkard.AMVfreak wrote:Yeah that was pretty funny. I cracked up when they started swearing

The Birds are using humanity in order to throw something terrifying at this green pig. And then what happens to us all later, that’s simply not important to them…
