Please observe the following unique rules for this forum:
  • Please limit your new threads (not replies) to one per week. If you have several new videos to announce, create one thread for all the videos. (Note: if you forget one you can edit your post!)
  • Offsite links are allowed, but you are required to have a catalog entry for that video as well. Threads announcing videos that do not contain a catalog entry will be moved to the Awaiting Catalog Entry sub-forum and will be deleted in 2 weeks if an entry is not created.
  • When posting announcements, it is recommended that you include links to the catalog entries (using the video ID) in your post.
  • Videos that do not contain anime are allowed to be announced in the Other Videos section and are not required to have catalog entries.

I still enjoyed your track, the song so fits the anime ^^
Meh, it still could've been better. I'll probably do a bit better on the MSI project, seeing as I have more time. (BTW, a nice .ogm version with chapters and 640x480 res would be nice for the hi-res version, hell, I could do it if you want)

I kinda agree with you there. Perhaps, just perhaps, before even starting a certain multi-editor project, one should have some experience with the type of music used. Half of the tracks look as if they're some sort of experiment, as the editor doesn't even know what he's doing. Maybe Fluxmaster should've been asked to join  .

Actually Bote Mine was an experiment with a different style of editing rather than music.. Like unlike Olin where its mainly sharp edges I tried removing any sharpness to the actual layers themselves... i learned a few things from it.

I can't say anything about anyone else's tracks because I haven't downloaded it yet :(

You should consider a career in Dvd menu design, that's what your track really reminded me of (and I mean that in a good way).
The best effects are the ones you don't notice.

Whether it sucked or not, it was a great experience with people working with other people, and trying out styles and what not. Just because there are more than 1 people working on the project that it has to be god-like or so. You always have to start somewhere :)

Yeah, I mean, the JSR(F) project was awesome, and it had a lot of new editors.

But anyway. When I first saw the whole project, I was a little dissappointed. It's not that the tracks themselves sucked, but it was more of a non-centralized theme. Too many different types of editing styles were shoved together.

I know that Corran's track(I think it was) resembled a DDR track with all the motion and zooms, while someone else was trying to tell a really serious story. Most of it was just raw action, but the different styles are what made the project not as good as it could be, I think.

Bote: My segment had a cuss word in it? I NEVER KNEW! (seriously, I didn't. I was just editing to the music).

And I thought someone else was doing a track with 3d footage. I feel like I screwed up the whole project because there's some random track in there with 3d footage in it. It's like... OH MY GOD! FINAL FANTASY~!11 *cut* anime... -sweatdrop of embarrassment-

Thanks, To be honest Motion graphics in general (a larger umbrella where DVD design would fall) is pretty much what i'm aiming for. so I appreciate the comment..

Now that I finally have at least Dial up at home Im gonna try Downloading this :)
