Indeed. In fact, even long series such as Card Captor Sakura (which I will be probably using myself ) have special single episodes.

Hmm, so do:

Love Hina (Probably the most popular of Christmas and winter specials)
Inuyasha – Love Transcending Time (If anyone wants to get slow and sad)
Millennium Actress (I do believe there was a winter scene somewhere in the movie)
And if anyone is good with using stills, there are a LOT of evangelion pictures which would be very cool to use,
And more which can’t come to mind right now.

Maybe you could work on something more festive and keep it around Christmas. Like I mean, if you can pull through a lot of people partying and dancing and having fun to a Christmas tune, and not go completely off track, then it’s cool. Just no violence, no summer fun and all that. You know, we don’t want the whole thing to go completely ridiculous.

Maybe the fact that we widened it from Christmas to Winter will help you decide =^.^=

I have a project already started using a song from the Southpark Christmas CD but it's going to be a comedy, or given my editing, a travesty.

If you can manage to pull through something funny but not completely crude and rude, hehe, then it’s fine by me my all means. I mean, it’s South Park, and besides the script, I don’t really see anything wrong so, yeah, I think it should be allowed.

Plus, you did give me a great idea for a few nice carols to add a little comedy to the video.

If the project will actually take place, and I DO think it will soon enough (You’ll all know by the end of this week) there are a lot of fun things which I might be adding which aren’t just carols. Of course, each idea will be put on here first, so we can decide together whether it’s feasible or not.

I have started gathering out music and ideas for the project and here is what I got up till now. I think it would be great to have a Multi Editor Project that isn't just a common music - footage video. Maybe we could create a sort of anime christmas TV show, having a host, guests, and other what-nots. Here are some ideas which I was pondering on.

Idea 1: Memorial

In every christmas show, people remember those who aren't lucky enough to be drinking champaign and eating caviar on christmas eve, and show footage of those who are suffering and dieing of hunger in the most remote places on the planet.

What I had in mind is to have someone that can really take out drama out of intrumental music, or another christmas based song which she of he likes, and use footage of war anime, such as Full Metal Panic or Grave of the Fireflies. I am sure you'll all get the idea.

Idea 2: Stand Up Christmas Comedy

A friend of mind has sent me an MP3 with a comdian, which apparently sings some christmas carols in the most wierd an funny way. I would put up some lyrics, but it's not so accepted by the org. Well here's a short bit of it:

Bum bum bum bum, bum."

I'm in the middle of a lecture and between java codes and notes, thats all I remember. hehe. But what I was thinkin is that we could find someone which makes good lipsync, and maybe have a drunken character such as Vash, or even Spike from Cowboy Bebop, actually singing these wierd tunes to a crowd. I'm sure it would be pretty fun.

Idea 3: The Recital

All schools have Christmas Concerts, and I thought it would be nice if Tomoyo-Chan, from Card Captor Sakura, could sing something for our show =^.^= It is something I always wanted to work on, and I think this would pretty much be my slot in the whole project. Singing a Part from the musical Les Miserable, Tomoyo Chan would be singing Castle on a Cloud. I think it would be a pretty neat idea.

Idea 4: Carols

Christmas Carols will be iether put in the background, or done the old fasshioned way between one part of the show and another, so we do need editors working on that too ^.^ hehe.

What I need to know from the people taking part is, what kind of music would you prefer. I mean, my repertuar of music goes from the Royal School of music, were theres a huge chior singing chamber music. Or pop version like Christina Aguilera and Marriah Carrey. And other slower version by Witney Houston and Celine Dion.

Like I said, the more feedback from you people, the more work I can get done =^.^=

A few more to add for the list: Macross/Robotech had several episodes in a winter-type setting. There's also the Onegai Teacher Snow Angel video, or the scene at the beginning of the third Ah! My Goddess OVA.

Hell i take that one give me the song and i can get that done for you asap. ive been planing something like this for a long time now and. just to let you know i think ican do drama video using fmp easyly. Hell i made one with GTO. like i said give me the song or parts of a song if someone else it wants it to and ill get you a video right away.
