Thoughts on elfen lied

okay for you people who have seen the anime called elfen lied, what are your thoughts on it?

some people say that it's the most bloodiest anime ever, and I would have to agree with that (especially in the 1st episode

)
also I must really say that this anime has got to be one of the most finely drawn anime to this date.

iv only seen the first episode(damn 120 gig HD)
but its got to be up there with some of the highest blood content animes
oh and how old is Nyu any way (dont know her real name sorry)

mose blood ever i dought that excel saga has the most blood in it hands down

in one epsoid of excel saga hyatt has one of her epsiods and blood coem gushing out of her and she windes up drowing the wolrd in her blood

Well, after seeing the first two episodes I have decided I will definetely be picking this one up when ADV releases it. I need something this senselessly violent. The story seems to have promise and it's only 13 episodes. A good buy I think.

To answer a question above: Nyu is probably about 18, give or take a year. She's about as old as the main male character (whose name escapes me).
