Sounds help

i have 2 questions. number one, right now i'm using Movie Maker (i started using it and then got premier so i have to finish this vid on it.) is there any way with Movie Maker to have music sound but then for one part play the video sound? (if not with movie maker, then can i do it with premier?)

question 2, is there any web site where i can download free sound files. the one i'm looking for is a gun shot sound. thanks alot : )

I don't know if you can do it in moviemaker since i have never used it but its pretty simplein premeire.

Premeire has more than one audio track. If you put the music on one layer and the video sound on another layer, you should be peachy! This works, although when I treid to do this in my video "Evan Now I Remember" I discoverd tha tyou get better quality if you just edit all the sounds in another program, export them and then take them into your editor. I used the trails version of Adobe Audition to do mine. (www.adobe.com)

As far as I know
WMM cant alter which audio to use from music to video.

it can,
just click the plus button next to video to expand the audio sublayer of the video. now you can drag the audio of the video to the audio/music layer.

I have always thought you cant completely control audio balance between the video and audio like shown above, under one audio layer

I dont use WMM much, didnt know it can hold more than one audio layer. (Yes, I know its unbelievable how I dont notice the essential features to WMM.)
