Well this is my first attempt at a trailer, and I think it turned out pretty good....and yes i know that some of the vid quality is really bad, but i was doing the best with what i had as far as footage goes. I tried to go fairly close to scene by scene with the matrix revolutions trailer and it turned out pretty neat...anyhow you be the judge leme know what ya thought :D

Wow.
Video quality was poor just like you said. What was this? Downloaded footage or VHS capture?
Lip synching was off sometimes, and cutscenes werent very oh-so-great in the beginning. I think you pulled it off pretty decently towards the end though.

I like the concept. I dont know if this is a first or not, but I like it.
I truly believe it can come out pretty good if you edit and improve quality much better.

Overall:
Truthfully for me, it was 'ehhhhh...' for the outcome
and 'hmmm...' for the video concept.
But with better editing and visual improvement like I said, it can turn out deadly.

*pts head towards ground in shame and sighs* alas the footage grabbed from downloaded sources...hehe but all the edits were completely mine...so yes the footage at times was well crap-oly but i am always interested if anyone might have say some footage or know of a prog that rips em well....and yes leme guess "read the guides" lol but i jus dont have the time to go skimin through em all the time...and yes i do own the entire eva series on dvd....Im jus a bit lazy. If anyone would like to help spit out a polished up version Im also all ears lol. by the by if ya wanna see jus how well it mimics the real trailer go to the website and download the ultra theatre revolutions trailer....almost scene for scene lol...that took a while.

i agree, this video although shabby looking
definately has heart
hehe, i really enjoyed the whole shinji vs rei stuff

but i really DIDN'T enjoy when u had shinji play as the commander guy saying 'we give them HELL before we do'.... that was just plain bad cause u completely changed who shinji was playing as and it was nothing but confusing and i hope u change that if u decide to polish this up

too bad there are no scenes of multiple asukas, otherwise u could have easily used unit 01 vs unit 02 from episode 24.... unless... u suddenly get maaad-skilled with special effects and create ur own shots

if you had multiple asukas like moving in one scene with cold stares and add shades... that'd be pretty creepy
[has nightmares]
If you're reading this, you've gone too far...PREPARE FOR RETRIBUTION!!
Don't judge an AMV by it's anime.. u nooB ;D

hehe...Hmm shades..dunno might of looked almost comical, and that is what I was struggling not to make it look like. As for the give em hell line...yeah limited footage was the culprit of that....I couldnt find any other shots I had of anyone yelling at the camera, so to speak, so I used shinji. I would like to later come back and touch this one up with high quality footage from a dvd rip, but I have yet to find a prog that will rip the footage without seriously makin it look like crap.
