Soul Hunter action/drama vid

This is a 'Soul Hunter' amv, set to Dream Theater's "Pull Me Under," and featuring two of the more minor characters - Kou Hiko, and Bunchu. It's a simple action/drama vid, and rather long, but I think the song is neat (it was originally 8 minutes - I cut it down by 3). The file is xvid, and big, but the quality makes up for that.

Eh, twas pretty good, I liked your syncing to the guitar solos. But I feel like the percussion could've used a bit more attention. All in all not bad.

Yeah, it wasn't nearly as flashy as I thought it would be. >.> I went for dramatic without the flair, that's why I cut out the heavy intro of the song.

But I did say simple, right? ^__^

You used Dream Theater? <3

omg second favorite band

I'm getting this as soon as possible, but I'll probably be more critical than usual. This sounds like I'll like it. ^_^

Although, there are much more dramatic Dream Theater songs with a similar theme that might have worked better, if you liked the songs... ah well, I'll wait until I see it.

Heh, don't get your hopes up. ^_^; My last video was the effect vid, this one's self-pleasuring egocentricity put into amv format. No guarantees on your liking it. I, on the other hand, am satiated by it. ^.~

It's a remix of one of their songs, by Dj Cagatan - the one I get most of my remixes from. I've never actually heard any of their music by itself, so I don't know how similar/dissimilar this version is to the original. Fair warning. o.o

There was virtually no difference, except for the beginning and the end which you, sadly, cut off (although, I know the end of the song just cuts off as it goes into the next song, so it wasn't bad you faded that). The only real difference I could hear was that it sounded lower quality.

As for the video, I liked the editing but I agree with Veg about the percussion. And it doesn't seem to be as cohesive a video as your last ones; the audio and the video seemed completely separate in some parts. Although the slow parts of the song/video were really good. It's nice to see a change of pace from your last videos, especially going for action/drama, but the combination didn't really work for me. Maybe because I'm a DT fan.
