I need cannon fodder
I'm working on an AMV. I started out using Bubblegum Crisis and I was setting it to 'Tarun Tara' from Pirate of Penzance. Basically the song is about how the cops are going to face danger and the women are singing them on and how they're all going to die. Can you believe there aren't enough scenes of the AD Police dying to fill the 6:38 of the song?
So I'm thinking about maybe adding another series besides BGC. I was considering Macross and having destroids, (It's not just a name.) but you never see the pilots. I need some suggestions for some series with lots of token 'stormtrooper' cannon fodder. Preferably, they need to be good guys. Any suggestions?

There's always Bubblegum Crash too
Not sure if that ever ended up on DVD or not, though.

Life's short.

Oh yeah, they did put Bubblegum Crash on DVD. Sorry, as a fan of the original, you just tend to forget Crash ever happend. I haven't seen the new Bubblegums, 2040 and AD Police. Are they any good? I don't want to use them though because of the difference in art.
I considered the original AD police. That never made it on DVD. I'm going to have to use the VHS tapes from Blockbuster. Yes, my local blockbuster actually has it. About the only halfway decent anime it has.

I trimmed the song down to around 4:30. Still not quite enough. I'm trying to use split screens and moving paths, so the footage got used up fairly quickly. The possibility of having 2 more DVDs with 6 more episodes should give me the footage I need.
I've got enough footage footage of the Knight Sabers to be Mabel and her sisters. The cop, I think the voice sounds more like Daley, (kinda high and nasal) but I am definitely at a lack of video for him, so I'm going to have to use Leon. Maybe I'll try to find another performance of Penzance with a more manly sounding Constable. I'm using the Broadway perfomance with Kevin Kline, Rex Hamilton, Linda Ronstadt, and George Rose.

hmmm. that's weird, I HAVE the AD police DVD...I didn't really like the series...it's a police drama essentially, most of the deaths tend to be civilian or bad guys too, so that's shot...
I would say that you should cut it shorter than 4:30, it sounds like a humorous video, so you don't want to get to heavy on it...
