Yeah, I like them both for different reasons, but I like this one better - same thing, I like the song more. ^.~

I thought that the song really fit the visuals being presented, although I thought the rap sections would be a bit faster. Also, I was confused why I saw some Mistress 9/Hotaru footage? Overall though, it's definately one of your better videos that I've seen from you lately ^_^

Heh, I tossed in a few shots of the other characters to go with the lyrics - there's even a shot of one of those monsters they kill when they first show up on the anime, and then Sailormoon before they fight her - Mistress 9 was the main adversary they had, so I used her for that. I can't say that there's much 'conflict' going on between the girls, in their relationship, but there's plenty going on outside them.

As to making it faster...eheh...no way. I used stills because I was shifting from one to the next very quickly and with the moving background layer, moving clips would have been too 'busy' looking. I didn't want the shots to move too quickly for me to see. ^_^;

Glad you liked it, though. It's definitely one of my favorites.

This is definitely my favorite of your SM vids. And considering it was SM, you got really good quality out of it.

I like the song, it sounds a bit like Enigma (though a little more "poppy"), and it's nice to hear some TATU that isn't quite as commercial as what I have heard. The Russian parts were really nice parts of the song, but I think they were my least favorite parts of the video. The slower English parts were more dramatic, and I liked 'em more.

Overall good, and I know the Russian parts were harder. It definitely didn't need to be faster.

And the bike part was awesome. :P

That's what you get with xvid and dv-avi, just don't ever expect me to go through that again. ^.~

Those were the ones that just went where they liked with me following along, and I thought they fell great without anything added to them - my usual 'style' of letting the clips speak for themselves. In other words, loose, noobish placement with no real work. Amazing how well it works. ;p

Honestly, that's my favorite part of making romance/drama vids - picking and placing the scenes. So I'm glad it seemed dramatic to you. ^_^

Those were hard, but really after the first dozen it was more time-consuming than difficult. I'm probably the only person who'd get giddy over something so gaudy. ^_^; It just makes the video for me, and I love how pretty they look in those shots. Mixed into the more simplistic romance and I have my favorite sort of vid.
And the bike part was awesome. :P
No one but you will ever notice that section. But you know what? Having done that I almost made the girls kiss - had the scenes ready and everything. I just couldn't find the right spot to fit it in. I'll save that sort of animation for a shonen ai vid, maybe even a yaoi crossover vid. :twisted:

Ooo I like that one better than Starcrossed XD The effects were subtle, but the whole vid was completely visually appealing. I can't decide how to say this...Starcrossed seemed more predictable whereas this one seemed to show the relationship with a bit more emotion, in a sort of 'uncensored'/'raw' version.

You never disappoint and with visions of my own editing hobby on the horizon...how I aspire.

Raw...I like that.

I thought of Starcrossed as being a simple romance vid, sappy, a dash of angst, but all around soft and just simple. I've made a lot of those, and I like simple romance videos like that. But this one was more of a look at the pairing itself without leaving things out so much - less gloss. The effects, I had no good reason for aside from wanting to practice replacing characters with a moving background, and wanting to have some pretty addition that would tie into the song (stars) while also being something that could have been in the original anime. I thought it made the rap section harder, but still soft (with the star flow meshing despite the actual 'stills' flicking from one to the next). But now I ramble - I really liked making this vid. ^_^;

Soon - make a vid soon! ^__^ Even if you don't use Sailor Moon, I'm sure I'd like any amv you made. And I'm curious what sort of stories you'd tell - if you went for story vids (eyecandy would be just as good considering we're both bishonen and shoujo fans ^.~ )
I love your ulterior motives. >.>
Heh, think I could have slipped a slow kissing scene in here without it ruining the pace of the vid? Something like that...the only problem I have is how to slip it in without making a viewer stop in her tracks gaping at the screen and crying, "I know THAT wasn't in the anime!" ^_^;;;
