Yes, that's right, I don't even know his real name, just his nickname! *Stabs self to death for not knowing a thing about anime directors*

'Cause I made a mistake, I just remembered I probably should have said three of my favorites. :)
Which is the third one?
The ones I had in mind were Eva and KareKano. Whichever the third is, I haven't seen it yet :P
Gunbuster, I think. I'm sure AD will know.
It was definetely Gunbuster, and Anno also directed Re: Cutey Honey recently.

Abe is a REALLY close second.

I still can't believe I can't make it to CNAE this year to see him     (of all the years, I had to miss this one  )
The Birds are using humanity in order to throw something terrifying at this green pig. And then what happens to us all later, that’s simply not important to them…

My favorite has always been and always will be Hayao Miyazaki.

I've been watching his movies for over 10 years and I cant say how much I love the Ghibli movies. His art and creativity amazes me.

Masashi Kishimoto, Hayao Miyazaki, Nobuhiro Watsuki

In my opinion all 3 of them are incredible in the world of anime.

Shinichi Watanabe (AKA Nabeshin) is just a director I thought. Might be wrong though.

Anyway my favs. go to:

1. Watsuki Nabuhiro- what can I say. I've liked all his manga so far, from his one shots (especilally "Meteor Strike") to his fully publicised works. "Rurouni Kenshin" is no doubt my favorite anime and manga. I'm currently enjoying his new manga "Busou Renkin" (though I hear some people hate it). The girl in my ava is actually from Busou Renkin (though its not official artwork from the manga).

2. Ken Akamatsu- I love his artwork. and his storys are very funny as well as cute. I love "Love Hina" and "Negima."

3. Koge Donbo- Her series are without a dout the cutest stories of all time. Her artwork and stories just match in a way, both are cute. I loved "Pita Ten" and am currently enjoying "Kamichama Karin" very much.
