Should Anime Screencaps have its own forum?

Off topic question. Is there supposed to be a poll in this thread?

Anime pic forum? Why not? It would be a good source for pics without having to hunt for good ones (and I've been dying for some good action pics for a slide show). I'd have to vote in favor.

if you start an anime screen caps thread, you're probably going to get a new thread for every single series instead of general topics like weird, or cute.
Then, the threads will most likely devolve into favorite characters, who do you look like, photoshop alterations, Mecha tama vs Eva, Faye vs Kagome and so on.

Since I don't forsee huge numbers of contributions, I'll be that it will be a bit like the 'audio help' forum, where posts sit on the main page for months before enough new ones come along to push them off. While necroposting a pictures thread isn't quite like offering advice to someone 4 months after they have asked for it, I'll be that a lot of the pics will not be around that long for the users that post using free services like photobucket, or whatnot.

I would vote - Yes, but save the long running threads like weird screencaps if you decide to nuke it.

When the previous poster named different types of topics like that, he gave me an idea.

If, like he said, this hypothetical forum for screencaps would have favorite character, who do you look like, photoshop alteration, and versus topics, as well as screencap topics, then I would vote yes for it.

Or was that not what he was trying to say? Oh well. I still say yes for this idea.

I'm in favour. Though I think the number of posts per page and the number one of pics per post should be defined to a smaller number than we currently have.

I vote yes. It could help people out in discovering new/old anime. If you hear about a series and you want to know what kind of story, quality of animation, etc. that series has, you can look up pictures for that particular series.

By the way, do the mods read our votes and then change the vote numbers at the top themselves or is there a button I have to click somewhere and I'm too tired to see it?

Yes ive been wondering about that too
and have been clicking the top for a near 5 minutes straight
