Ok, this might 'seem' like a simple question, but here goes anyway.

In the show, is the owners name Kalos or Carlos?

I think it's Kalos, since his name is Kalos Eido (Kal-eido). My wife thinks that it's just a mispronunciation on that part of the voice acting, and that since he's an american (I guess) his name is Carlos.

Anybody care to shed a bit of light on this and lay it to rest?

カロス・永戸 <--thats the official japanese name

so translating that.... its kalos

Of course, if you spelled the name "Carlos" in Japanese, it would come out as Kalos. So, it doesn't really matter.

wouldnt carlos come out as カルロス　？
