Ok...what the hell is with this? How can there be 88 downloads but only 70 stars? Do people just not give stars!?!? I mean I can kinda understand not giving an opinion (mainly because that actually takes a minor bit of effort), but no star rating? You just have to click a little drop down button, then click a number...I don't get this.

If someone has a logical reasoning behind this please express it.

I have an older video that 201 people haven't given star ratings to - 1410 stars to 1611 downloads. When the vid is new, an 18 difference doesn't seem so strange. When more than a year has gone by and 200 some members still haven't given ratings, then you might wonder. But chances are, they're just infrequent members who download less than 10 vids and never give stars to any of them (like Godix's wife ^.~ ).

The only way around it is to force a person to rate the star after every download - and that would be a major hassel for those who get more than one video at a time. ^_^;

A number of poeple who download videos never come back to the org. Despite the 2 week wait there are just some people that just download to see what AMVs are like after the wait and then they leave.

There's also the fact that people don't watch videos immediately after downloading them, and they can't give stars until they do.

Myself, I've still got 5 videos I've downloaded from the Donut and not watched yet; the oldest one I downloaded back in September.
