How much do I like editing?

Well let's evaluate that. I'm on a site dedicated to editing on a daily basis, and have made a few vids...

I guess I'd have to say "a bunch".....

That's got to be the gayest topic you could have possibly here bud.

Im on the same level as Knives. I'm about to enter college to study media.

I like editing enough to have done it for the past 5 years

After working on people's problem machines all day, editing is an enjoyable way to forget all those vehicles. 8) No, I have no plans to go any further in the video field, probably to late for me anyway. I can see that there will be a lot of great video talent coming in the next few years. :D We may be training the next great editing talent right here at the org.
Where did you say I'm going?.... And what am I doing in a handbasket?

while i'm not particularly aspiring to make a career out of video editing, I'm certainly not dismissing the idea completely. I like to experiment and learn how to do anything that I like to do, And video editing is one of those. So is computers, and so is cars.

So yes, I like to edit.

i do it to pass time and to eliminate boredom... not straight out cause i have to for a class or whatever just like programming i hate to program just because i have to

of course i like editing amvs over regular mvs just because amvs work better with fast pace transitions... i dunno last time i tryed to make a mv using live action and a scene every 3 frames it gave me a head ache... who knows its prolly just me

I'm not too fond of the actual editing process but I love seeing the results.

i edit for fun and that's it. i doubt if i will get any proper training to do this. it would be kind of cool if i can incorporate what i have learned in future scientific presentations to liven it up a little. science can be so boring sometimes. long live editing.

The best part about editing is it a great pasttime for people who are both skilled and unskilled when it comes to media. Like whenever I get tired of my digital imaging and computer graphics crap. I just go create a music video, and by the time I'm done, I'm ready to go back to imaging.

But sometimes, editing AMV's can be a real pain in the ass, and it doesn't seem worth it for a while there. That is until you get done and have an awesome AMV to show off to all your friends.

If my schedule permits in the fall semester, I might take either a media editing course, or a 3D imaging course.

I hate it...

I hate editing so much my fingers bleed from it...

But I edit with only one purpose in mind, to create a beautiful finished product that not only myself, but that other people can enjoy on a regular basis. Good stuff from burning my hands off, yes I think it can be worth it...
