Cheery person this Scott. I must admit though for once Creed did something I can respect.genestarwind wrote:So they decided instead of forcing music they would break up. So Scott went his own way and did a song for the movie The Passion of Christ.
That being not ending in a fight. Too many bands have broken up over the stupidest shit on the planet, to include some of my favorites. Creed was not much for the spirit and tradition of rock to not leave a lasting impression with a break up. Its kind of quitting really.
They'll never know if they could have made it and sprang back to life. Course I don't care because I think their music is anticlimactic and not as deep as it is made out to be. Not deep at all really just standard western beliefs from the songs I have heard.
A lot of the depth is the artistic affect of having lyrics rhyme line by line and re-using a lot of words in the lines except the end, but then repeating an end line as the chorus. It has a hypnotic effect.
You know maybe I don't respect it. At first I thought hey a band that did not rip apart from stupid stuff. But it probably was stupid just not dramatic and rememberable with the we rock and we're going down in flames swinging attitude.
Okay scratch respect, hey I tried to like them.
Hey kthulhu where does your login in name come from it seems familiar.
