"Deep Blue"

"Deep Blue"
(Main) Footage: Blue Submarine No. 6, Voices of a Distant Star (Hoshi No Koe)
Audio: Deep Blue Trailer (Custom Mix)

This took... So much time of my life, 2 weeks alone for the audio mixing, which was alone, a pain in the ass, the video itself though.
Took about a month and a half from conception to reality.

I hope you enjoy, I worked my ass off on this.

Good work!

Style-wise, still reminds me of SRR a lot. The action parts were pretty cool, and combining stuff seemed to work well. My only complaint would probably be the fact that it's kinda hard to see some of the smaller things, like lip-sync in the dark - but eh, knowing your having to use MPEG, I guess that's exceuseable. Oh yea, and it all went by too quickly (but again... that's a lot of stuff to pack into a trailer)

Keep it up yo
The Birds are using humanity in order to throw something terrifying at this green pig. And then what happens to us all later, that’s simply not important to them…

Meh, I didn't really like it. The audio didn't flow too well and really I don't see how editing 1 1/2 mins of audio took you 2 weeks, but eh, w/e. Also there was a slight pause in the middle of the audio, not sure how that happend but it makes it sound bad. The editting itself wasn't that bad. I really disliked the scene at 1:03-04 with the main clip below a copy of the same clip that's just black & white that moves around. I dunno it just looks bad imo... Anyway, that's just my .02

Shrugs, finding audio for it wasnt easy =\ plus putting it together and situating it so it didnt interfere with other things wasnt easy.

But *shrugs* your opinion, though you've never liked anything i've made master.

pretty good vid. The synching and editing is pretty good, but I thought the profesionalism of it was a little low, As in, well as an example, the text for the Green preview screen at the begining, and the disclaimer thing at the end looked like they were put together in an image editing software. DIdn;t look profesional enough like the ones in the movies. Just a little nitpick that lowers the profesionalism of the video a bit. I think the main problem with the text, in these screens and the ones in the video itself, is they looked pasted over the image, It didn;'t blend well with the footage. Not sure how else to describe it. Its probably how you created them. What software did you use to make them?

Also, shouldn;t previews be in 16:9 aspect ratio? I think that detracted from the profesionalism a little too.

Overall I did like the vid though.

Well, i'm getting better at this pro thing ^_^;; I really worked hard on this and tried to make it to the best of my abilities at the progressive time frames.

Now I know more =) and my next, shall kick all ass.

But as for this one, i'm really glad you enjoyed it, and i think it's a far step up professional wise from my former trailer, so it's a step, step's are step's :)

Somehow, the caption in the picture reminds me of the Alien posters...

Anyway, you certainly build the creepy feeling quite deftly, even without the use of darkly played christmas carols. Honestly, this is a movie that is far more interesting than SRR (or most Hollywood flicks, for that matter). For one, the entrapment angle is interesting. For another, the "our fangerous game" line puts me in mind of the short story "The Most Dangerous Game", a flat-out scary piece of work.

About the only thing I can come up with that should have been added was simple: I think the title should have been animated. You know, bubbles flowing off it and all....
