My whole thing is that if you want to make a video using downloaded footage, prepare to face the consequences. There's very little hope that you can make it look as good as DVD quality (unless somehow you know Avisynth filters like you know your hands) and on top of it, you are cheating people out of their money. What I've done in the past is create a video using downloaded clips and then wait until the series becomes available on DVD to completely remaster the video and then put it online.
I can understand that you *really* want to make an AMV, but you do not have to make one. Move on to another project and wait until you can get an authentic source to start the video again. I think by now you should've learned that AMVs take patience, and not everything is going to go perfectly, but think about the people here who've spent hundreds or thousands of dollars on japanese DVDs and LDs and then you're sitting back and using a dinky little file that you got for free off the internet. Ridiculous.
Wait it out. Or if you want to do the video so badly, do it and don't release it here. Many people have unreleased work that they will not put on the LOCAL server for reasons such as that. But like Sarah said, you do NOT need to do this video. This is a hobby. HOBBY. And if you are for some reason a professional AMV maker, I'm appauled that you would even *think* about using downloaded footage.
