Yes. I can see plenty of room for improvement but I just can't see myself actually improving. Because of this I haven't done more than a few hours of editting in the last month and a half. Its been almost a couple years since I started, it's probably about time to find a new hobby anyway. Maybe I'll finally teach myself how to speak and write english, god knows I desperately need to learn.

I think the whole concept of "topping out" is unattainable. We all have an infinite capacity for imagination and thus it is impossible to say when or where this will ever peak.

Sure for many years the ideas and concepts we come up with are not as good maybe, but it only takes one idea to come across our minds and suddenly it's better them anything else we've done....

I think our creativity and imagination dies only when we do or just plain give up....

On one level I definately can. I'm still learning the tricks...what works and what doesn't. I have yet to peak as far as the general presentation and overall quality is concerned. I'm still experimenting with techniques and there are so many things I have never tried before.

However I think I have peaked on a more personal sense. As in "These Angel Hearts" means a lot to me personally. What I have made before it and what I am making now...they've been videos that I enjoy, have had a lot of fun making and take I pride in them. But TAH...I kinda connect with it on such a personal and emotional level that to me, showing it to people is almost like letting them read my diary. And I know that I will probably never again make another AMV that will make me feel that way. Not because I wouldn't want to...but because I've already exhausted the concept.

To answer the question: No... never made anything that made me feel that way.

It's all Dilandau + Korn from this point forward. :?

HAHA

I agree with Vlad... I think when it comes down to it... ideas simply can turn out very randomly... I still think my best advice(often to myself) or anyone asking for my opinion is "...just make what you want to see and don't worry about others." Bad or good in the end... doesn't matter. Create!

Dilandau + Korn , what a novel concept! I don't think anyone's ever done a video like that before!

But to summarize my stance, do what you enjoy and damn the torpedoes!

or something like that.

Same for me as most of the above are saying. I'll do my best at the time and I'll obsess and nitpick at it, but I've never felt like I've topped myself. I always aim high and never tell myself that this is as good as I'll get because I can always improve.

Technically, hell no. I'm standing on like... the first few steps the staircase here. Let's just hope the only way way is up (though I'm known for falling off stairs in all sorts of ridiculous circumstances...)

Creatively, I hope not, but I've had my concerns after 'The Wasteland', which I still don't think I topped. Although once I move up technically, there are several very unusual ideas with great creative potential I'd like to try.
The Birds are using humanity in order to throw something terrifying at this green pig. And then what happens to us all later, that’s simply not important to them…
