Wow...three pages and so far no one's mentioned the infamous G-Saviour (the attempt to make a live-action Gundam movie)

...all things considered, that might not be a bad thing

Well, it got made...but it was such a failure that most of the fandom views it as non-existent (there's rumor that, at one point, Sunrise even moved to have it ruled as unofficial Gundam)

Ok since no one else has mentioned it so far, I think it's time for a little recap of why american companies should NOT make live action versions of anime.

Back around '94 Saban thought that it might be a good idea to make a cell animated/CG/Live action american version of Sailor moon instead of just dubbing the original Japanese version.

You can read about it -> Here <-

Or if you are feeling REALLY brave, get the 2 minute promo -> HERE <- (last link on the page)

Do not download that promo if you are prone to fits of rage. You *WILL* kill someone.

By the way in the original Japanese version, what was the name of the senshi in the wheelchair again??

*shudder* *twitch* *shudder*

I remember seeing that about six years ago now... It still hurts just thinking about it even now. God, the Horror... THE HORROR!

And I think it was Jupiter (Makoto/Lita) that was wheelchair-bound in that travesty. I don't want to watch it again to check, though.
