movies based on anime

Ok since no one else has mentioned it so far, I think it's time for a little recap of why american companies should NOT make live action versions of anime.
Back around '94 Saban thought that it might be a good idea to make a cell animated/CG/Live action american version of Sailor moon instead of just dubbing the original Japanese version.

By the way in the original Japanese version, what was the name of the senshi in the wheelchair again??

I remember seeing that about six years ago now... It still hurts just thinking about it even now. God, the Horror... THE HORROR!
And I think it was Jupiter (Makoto/Lita) that was wheelchair-bound in that travesty. I don't want to watch it again to check, though.
