I really am not concerned with if it's "legit" or not, I would be saying the same to PETA if they had a thread in here.

Furthermore I have no more reason to "go away" then anyone else here. If You, or Nailz and his friend don't want to hear both sides of an argument, then maybe posting this in a public forum was a poor decision.

And you're right alot of people WOULD do anything to help a friend. I wouldn't need to find out about a FRIEND's injury through a post on an Anime Music Video site though. A true friend would have talked to me personally about it.

My opinions on what should happen to these two are based off of what THEY have personally written in this thread. I am responding based on their presentation of themselves, I don't need to assume anything about them, what they have already written is more than enough for me to form an opinion.

The Org is an orginazation that offers a service. Once again, I have *NO* problem with asking for my money when there are services being rendered. And don't even try this "CJ makes AMV's...that's a service" garbage. I don't use his services, therefore I owe him nothing. Likewise for yourself.

I am several thousand dollars in debt. I need ALOT of medical bills to get paid right now. The day that you start giving enough of a shit about me to know that without me having to post it in an internet forum is the day that you become *my* friend, and I start thinking about how to help *you* out. Until then you are nothing to me, and I have no regrets about explining to you (and anyone else that cares to read the garbage that I say) that in a nutshell I think what you are doing is inappropriate for this environment as well as a personal nuisance.

It's great that you have a cause. I don't have to think that it's great that you decided to set up your cause on the Org's yard. In fact, I think Nailz and CJ should die and burn for it.

There is a certain irony to all of this...

Nailz1000 comes here and asks for people to save someone that he knows' ankle, and recieves quite a bit of praise, and the 'go ahead' from ops.

*I* make a post about an alternative way for CJ to be cured, that doesn't require anyone (except for himself) to do anything, and people get upset. And what I suggested is no more than what life demands out of all of us in the frist place.

CJ said he HAS money. *HE* is the one that is using it for other things. My feeling bad for him after understanding that deminished to nothing.

Why the hell do any of you people really care what I say anyway? Just ignore me like you think I should ignore them. Right??!?

Welp, I appologise if I denounced your opinion, Joy. I for one, am not asking you to stop posting in the thread. I don't see any personal attacks against me, so have at it all you want.

It's not really a matter of wanting to hear both sides of the argument, because I for one never really posted this for the sake of arguing. However, like I said, if you've got a problem with someone asking for donations, thats fine. Feel free to bitch about it so maybe I can explain it better. I've already done so with a few people.

I didn't find out about his injury through a webboard, I found out about it through a livejournal, basically what I consider a masscommunication between a person and all of his online friends reguarding the goings on in his/her life. We had talked about it over AIM too, but it just so happened I caught info on it there Not everyone has the luxury of talking to a buddy 24x7 as you must, especially on the internet.

No, you don't owe CJ anything, I'm sorry if you felt I implied that, but likewise, you don't owe the ORG anything either. I haven't donated to this website myself. Does that make me a bad person? I don't think so. I give back other ways, the most primary function of mine is being an asshole in the chatroom.

I brought it to the attention of the Org because I figured that this was where I would find the most help and support (and help and support I have gotten, and again, thanks to everyone). Lets face it, Joy, you don't sell Nelly CDs at a Metallica Concert. You market to your audience, or there's no point in marketing at all, it becomes a waste of time and energy. Where else would you have had me set this up so it may not conflict with your personal interests, and yet gain the same amount of attention of all of these potenital donators?

Praise was not my intention, but you have to admit, people are more apt to look at someone who's doing something good for someone else with higher dignity, rather than someone who comes along and says "FOOLS. CAN'T YOU SEE THIS ACT OF KINDNESS IS IDIOTIC?", don't you agree? You were pretty harsh in the way it was presented. CJ said he could get the money to pay off this medical bill at an extreme expense to his future.

And for the record, I am 10's of 1000's of dollars in debt too, but hey, I can still be a good natured guy.
